It’s made of mainly plastic. It has a film covering the LCD screen that you can peel off. The color you will get is black like in the picture. Takes 1 AAA battery (included). Comes with a mini keyring so it can be attached to a lanyard or larger keyring (lanyard not included and larger keyring not included).

To connect it to a computer no need to find the right cable, just take the cap off the end opposite of the mini keyring and the USB is right there. To change the batteries pull the cap off then slide the battery cover off.
Even if you don’t want to use it as an MP3 player, voice recorder, or flash drive it still makes a nice little FM radio. To use the FM radio: hold the play button until the screen lights up, switch the mode button to select FM, then press the mode button in (the mode button does not look like a button that can be pushed in especially since you can switch it from side-to-side but it can be pushed in), then switch the mode button to scan up and down the dial and the screen will show which station you’re on. If you want to keep it on one station switch “hold” on, this will keep it there even if other buttons are accidentally pressed.
Lightweight, compact, portable, and great for emergencies. Also one of the nice things about using it as an emergency radio is that since it uses AAA batteries which are one of the most common and widely available types of batteries in existence it increases the odds that you will be able to find batteries for it in an emergency.
And since you are not supposed to mix batteries of different brands, that have different expiration dates, or that have different amounts of life left in them even if from the same brand with the same expiration date as it reduces performance and can even cause them to leak or rupture and that can result in damaging the device they’re in, this means that since it only takes one battery that makes it 100% impossible for that problem to ever happen.
Also, since it has an LCD screen that tells you which radio station you’re on there’s no educated guessing like with auto scan only radios or dial radios where where you are just educated guessing based on the music or talking you are hearing and then you have to wait for the radio station announcer to say what radio station it is to be 100% sure and you can go to the radio station you want faster as well and it also has auto scan which is nice so then it stops automatically at any radio station with a decent signal.
During emergencies you can learn important news from radio stations and if no radio stations are broadcasting in an area where they normally are even that tells you important news… because then the news is the scope of the emergency must be huge.
